Inspiring That Fire Within!!

We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.”
―Maya Angelou

Today is Valentines day…a day to celebrate the love we have for others and the fire they light inside of us. This week has been a very remarkable one for me and I want to share the sparks that have been ignited within me and the surge of inspiration I have been experiencing…

First off, I want you to imagine something…

Imagine your body feeling amazing…

Imagine illness lasting 1-2 days instead of a week or a lifetime…

Imagine all your organs working properly and in unison…

Imagine your skin radiating and the aging process slowed down….

Imagine reversing the effects of the disease processes that have started…

Just imagine the life you could have if you felt good everyday and your body worked as it should.  Imagine this was possible…I’m hear to let you know it is.  Fuelling our bodies with whole foods is the answer we continue to search for…it is the bridge over the gap between health and disease; between feeling amazing or feeling just ok.  It is the lubricant for all our parts like the oil we put in our car engines…

I have been surrounding myself with people who radiate in more ways than one…not only physically but emotionally.  They are passionate leaders that have shared their stories with me about helping themselves and others through education.  They are the woman who I strive to be by writing this blog each and every post…

Understanding what our bodies require to work  as it should is really powerful knowledge.  A power so strong, that it surpasses all those billion dollar pharmaceutical companies, it puts hospitals out of business, it allows us to live a long and fulfilling life, enriched with good health..because without our health what do we have?  Eating 7-13 servings of fruits and vegetables would be the optimal amount that our bodies would need to obtain in order to work at its peak performance.  Not everyone can afford these ideal servings or find the time to prepare that much food, so supplementation has become our modern-day way to obtain the proper amounts of vitamins and nutrients wet require.  I don’t know a single person who doesn’t take some form of vitamin at one point or another.  With that said, there are a million companies that all have the “best”product.  I’m a skeptic at heart but even I have discovered a vitamin that I feel confident enough to support.  This product doesn’t just make claims to be the best, it has 38 medical studies to back it and real life people to vouch for it.  It’s real food in a capsule literally…flash frozen after being picked at its ripest stage, organically grown fruits and veggies: dried slowly at low temperatures to keep the integrity of its nutrients and packaged in a small bottle…simple.  I have been taking this product for almost 3 weeks now, in addition to a whole food diet, free from dairy and wheat (as a participant in the Canadian Transformation) and have been feeling amazing.  I am a participating in my own study called Counting Yawns….and actually stopped counting on day 2 because until 7-8 pm at night there were none!  While having some vitamins is better than none…I want to know what I am putting in my body and understand how it is going to benefit my health everyday.

I want to dedicate this post to the woman who have inspired me and to those people who I hope I can help in their own personal journey towards good health…

I am happy to share any information you would like to learn about in regards to becoming healthier…so please contact me by email nudemushroom@gmail.com or write to me in the comments section or the Shiitake Corner.
