Kick That Cold With This Immune Boosting Smoothie!!

 

As 2016 kicks off…I am off to a rough start!!  With an acute onset of bronchitis early last week, I was able to treat my body with immune supporting foods that helped me heal in no time!  I would love to share this miracle drink with you, so that you to can heal your body when ever you feel a bug coming on.  Make it every morning until your better…along with a dose of 4 drops of oregano oil 4 times a day, lots of water, fresh vegetables, pots of green tea and tones of rest and your bound to feel amazing in no time!!  Your body has a beautiful way of healing itself, through a cascade of mechanisms which work together to get you back to good health.  Eating and drinking the right things is like giving your cleaners the proper gear to get the job done more effectively.  How quickly you heal, depends on how closely you follow the protocol and support your body in the healing process. Your body is your temple…treat it well!!

Ingredients:

Serves: 2

  • 3 Kale leaves
  • 1 Cup of unsweetened cashew milk
  • 1 Cup spring water
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 scoop Complete Plant Based Protein
  • 2 tbs Udo oil (find at your local health food store – right balance of omega 3/6)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 apple
  • 1 small garlic clove peeled
  • 1 thumbnail of peeled ginger
  • 1 tablespoon organic honey

Blend in high speed blender and serve.
